Okay guys, listen up. So for my blog today, I'm gonna tell you a lil' somethin'. I've got skills guys. I've got skills... Anyways, so the things I've mastered are switching the papers in the camera for morning announcements! Also, you could say I've mastered talking with an enthusiastic voice for my voice overs and stuff. Lastly, I've mastered....being able to type my blogs faster than normal and without looking!! I think typing out my script and trying to get it done fast helped me with that one. I am so excited for this year's turnout!!!
Alright, so as I said, I have been so totally amazing that I have mastered the page flipping in morning announcements!!! When I first started media, I was like late on a lot of the things, and luckily the announcers had enough practice that they knew most of it. But later I started enhancing my skills. I got smoother at pulling the pages out, and I watched other people do it as well, and I've caught on to the technique of pulling out the top page a little more than the one underneath so it's easier to pull out. Now, after all the paper pulling, I have managed to always be on time, and pull out the page, oh so gracefully, you couldn't even hear a thing! In fact, if I wanted to, I could even text on my phone and still be able o turn it on time and smoothly! It takes practice though, so don't get frustrated if you're not really good yet, because trust me, nobody's probably going to get it perfect on their first try.
Okay, next thing is that I've got the hang of talking on the phones to people, and being polite, even if they're not. I have a more enthusiastic voice, and I am able to sound alive and joyful when I'm doing things that require my talking or voice. Such as voice overs or radios.(I haven't done radios yet but it's coming) but I can talk way better than I could in the beginning of the year! Even at home I can talk better on the phone! So that's pretty good, because when I get older and I need to be interviews or something, I'll know what to say, and how to say it, you know? This class has actually put mots confidence in me.
Lastly, I can type faster on the keyboard and without looking!!!!!! I've been practicing and practicing, and I finally got the hang of it!! I think what mostly helped was typing out my script, because I need to copy paste me interviews, but then I need to make it in all caps! So I click before the start of the interview and I press all caps, and I start typing the interview, while I'm still looking at the words. So I know I'm following along. And I never look down at the keyboard, or else I lose my spot. So I say that typing my script really made an impact on my typing! I know where all the keys are on the board! Isn't that sooo cool!!?? I think so, because now I can show my mom that I can type like her too.😏
So as you can see, I've mastered three main things, and I'm pretty pumped about it. When I mastered all these things, I was so stoked! I hope later on sometime, I can teach others how to do what I have mastered! -then I can say I've mastered teaching others what I mastered!! Haha... Well anyways. I hope u guys learned some stuff about me in this blog, And I hope to learn more about you guys later on in the year, which is my plan, so we can become great friends!! See you next time!!
