Today was our fourth day in Florida! It hasn't even been a week yet! We all had to wake up bright and early today to go to the Epcot Center and take a tour! It was an educational tour, so of course we had to incorporate some school suff in the tour.... Our tour guide's name was Wendy. She was a pretty nice your guide. First, we talked about our favorite technology, and then we went on to learn about how technology actually is able to go into the real world. It takes some planning and some time....
Then, we went Into the inventions place, and we got to see all sorts of cool things! Such as tests for rollercoasters seats and all that. After that, we got to actually ride a ride! We were the first ones on this ride, and it was the Test Track. You get to design your own car, and then when you are done, you head out and take a ride in the actual rollercoaster! It was pretty fun, and it woke us all up. The whole thing was a race, and so I got a total of 200 points for the way I designed my car, in speed, length, etc. Then we rode another ride called, well, I forget what it was called, but it was a space ride. I was the Navigator for the flight, and I was with Marlena and Haven. We took the less intense ride, and then we took off! I guess it was okay, but it wasn't the best ride ever. The whole topic though, was evolution of technology, so we could kind of see how the world would've been without the technology we had/have. Does that make sense? Well, after that, we went on this ride about the evolution of technology, and so we got to see how it all started. From cavemen to press printers, and so on. I think after that, it was pretty much over....
When we finally got to go on our own, we watched the 4D film of "It's Tough To Be A Bug". That was pretty cool, but yet some parts were disgusting. Like the spraying in your face with the acid. After that, we went on the Kali rapid ride. That one was SUPER fun!!!! I wish I could ride it again! It was my mom, Halle, Leanna, and Isa. Hen across from us were some other people, dressed up for St. Patrick's day! It was pretty cool, because we were all fluorescent! Anyway, when we got on, it was this lady's birthday, and when we started to move, she said, "oh it's just a smooth relaxing ride...." And I was like, "Are you saying that because you know what's gonna happen?" Like all worried/joking somehow, and then they said they didn't know what was gonna happen. So, when we went down, we went down this big slope, and then they were screaming and then this massive wave came over them and crashed! They were SOAKED. They were screaming and laughing, and I said, "it's okay, it's only a smooth calm ride!" They were bust laughing!
When we were done with that, we rode the Yeti ride! That one was pretty fun, I must say. It was the only real rollercoaster I went on. My favorite part of that ride was when it went backwards! We must've went on that ride at least three times! Every time I went on they ride, I met some new friends! They all spoke English, and some had accents, so that was cool! I also said "Hi" to a guy that didn't speak English.... He looked confused. My goal by the end of this trip, is to meet the most people I can, and get to know their names. I really had fun today! I bought space ice cream, and ate the BEST orange chicken EVER. From China. It was amazingly perfect....
In the end, when we were leaving, my sister called to FaceTime me! Everyone said "hi" and we had fun talking! We hadn't eaten dinner yet, so we went to eat at Wendy's. I don't really like fast good, but I are food anyways. I got chili cheese fries...and a frosty. It wasn't the best fries.....but at least it was food! Then I went home with uncle Dale guys, and we were talking and jamming to a bunch of songs! It was awesome. When we got to the house, Halle, Haven, and I did yoga to relieve our ankles and feet pain...it worked! It was also fun, because we memorized every single word and term that Mrs. Wagner would use while teaching us. That's it for the day, so we'll see you back here on Brooke's Blog tomorrow!
